Social services for adults
Is something concerning you about your own life management or that of a person close to you? Do you have a difficult life situation where you need guidance with your problems? Contact the social services helpline.
At the social services helpline, you can talk to a social services professional and find solutions together to solve the issues in your life. You can get more information about the services we provide, the terms and conditions for receiving them, as well as support for applying for and using services and benefits. For example, you can get help applying for supplementary and preventive social assistance. If necessary, we will make an appointment with a social welfare professional.
If you already have a designated caseworker in the social services, please contact them first.
Services for immigrants
Municipalities are responsible for guidance and counselling related to the integration of immigrants. If you have any questions about integration, please contact the integration services or the immigration coordinator of your municipality of residence. You can find the contact information on the website of your municipality of residence.
If you are already covered by the integration services of the municipality, but you also need a need for services assessment in accordance with the Social Welfare Act, ask your municipal worker to help you contact the social services of the wellbeing services county where we can start work on your situation.
Emergency social and crisis services
The social workers of the emergency social and crisis services will advise and guide you in various problematic situations that may emerge outside official hours.
The social and crisis emergency services can help if you or your family have encountered a crisis or need urgent child welfare assistance. You can also contact the emergency social services when you want to file a child welfare notification or need urgent help and advice related to child welfare, family crises or domestic violence. Your crisis situation may also be related to life management, housing, mental health, intoxicants, or encountering a sudden traumatic event. Such traumatic events may include a serious accident, suicide, or a serious act of violence.
