FinnGen Tools and Data workshop
Tampere University and FinnGen are organising a 4-week course on using FinnGen tools and data resources including demos and hands-on sessions. Utilities to explore and analyse Green and Red data resources are introduced and demonstrated, with the possibility to work on an example or own dataset with on-site help from FinnGen experts.
For work inside the FinnGen Sandbox environment additional analysis tools such as R and RStudio, the Linux command line or SQL are introduced.
Please note that a working Sandbox account is needed for weeks 2-4.

The course will take place at the Arvo building (Arvo F211a+b) on Kauppi campus in Tampere (Arvo Ylpön katu 34)
on 4 consecutive Wednesdays in April and May

at 11-15, with lunch and coffee breaks. Lunch is not included but we will provide coffee/tea and snacks.

This is planned as an in-person event as we will work with Sandbox and have live demonstrations showing controlled-access data. If you would like to attend but cannot make it to Tampere please contact me.
