Our Services During Easter 2025

Our services at health anc social service centers, local stations (lähiasema), and local service points (lähiasiointipiste) will close on Maundy Thursday, April 17, at 15 and will reopen on Tuesday, April 21.

The outpatient clinics at Tays hospitals will also be closed; otherwise, the hospitals will continue normal operations.

Urgent care

Tays Emergency Department Acuta in Tampere is open 24/7, and Tays Valkeakoski emergency department is open every day 8 - 22.
Urgent care and the Emergency Department

The urgent receptions in the health anc social service centers in Nokia, Sastamala, Tampere Hatanpää, Ylöjärvi, and Virrat will be open on Easter according to the holiday schedule 10 - 18. Call the urgent care center before arriving.

Other urgent care services at health and social services centres

On Maundy Thursday, April 17, urgent care at the Kangasala, Lempäälä, Pirkkala, and Mänttä-Vilppula stations will be open until 18, urgent care at Hämeenkyrö, Orivesi, and Parkano stations will be open until 16, and urgent care at Akaa, Valkeakoski, and Tampere centres (except Hatanpää) will be open until 15. These services will be closed from April 18–21.

Urgent dental care

If you need urgent dental care, call the Dental Emergency Department at 03 384 5335. The service will be open on Maundy Thursday 15 - 21 and during Easter from April 18–21, from 8 to 21. The dental emergency service is located at Tays Central Hospital in Tampere.

Other help

Pirkanmaa centralised emergency social and crisis services, telephone at 0500 625 990 will advise and guide you in various problematic situations that may emerge outside official hours. The social and crisis emergency service is available at all times of the day and night.
