Educational events

Several training events are held in Tampere Surgical Education Centre weekly. Some training sessions are internal to the units of The Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa. It is possible to participate in them as a visitor, as long as the person in charge of the training agrees on the matter. Some training events are organized by external operators and registration for them takes place through the organizer. Individual health care professionals are free to register for the courses mentioned here.

8th International Tampere Plastic Surgery Flap Dissection Course: An international, three-day course, that covers the most frequently used flaps and their modifications in free flap surgery. The course is organized annually, and it includes one day of lectures and two days of hands-on practice on fresh cadavers. Participants can also enjoy social program during the course.
